DESCRIPTION: Illinois Watch Co., Springfield, Illinois, "Burlington Watch Co." Bull Dog, 16 size, 21 jewels, stem wind and lever set, adjusted to positions and temperature, straight line damascened nickel plate movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance and whiplash micrometric regulator, in a yellow gold filled, screw back and bezel, open face case with rigid bow, the inside of the back marked "BULLDOG", case back engraved with Odd Fellows imagery, and Arabic numeral, double sunk white enamel dial, marked "Burlington Bull Dog", blued steel spade and poker hands, serial #3214214, c1935
CONDITION: CASE: May not be original to the movement, one extra case screw mark; Dimple, back; A few dings and pin pricks; Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Scratches on inner surface of case; Gold filled with minor brassing. DIAL: Hairlines in enamel, very light, 3:00, 7:00, 9:00; Scratches minor to dial. HANDS: Very good, tip of minute bent. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches and scuffs on plate; Winding wheels have spots of oxidation; Click and regulator with spots of oxidation; Jewel replaced, upper balance endstone. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks).
